Wow .. someone really doesn't inderstand how to work out a probibility.

A coin has two sides .. so the probability of getting a head is 1 in 2
A coin has six sides .. so the probability of getting a three is 1 in 6
So .. the probability of of getting both is 1 in 12 ..... (1x1=1 ... 2x6=12)

What is important that NO ONE is telling you is that a flipping a coin and rolling a die are INDEPENDENT EVENTS. So the Law of Multiplication for Independent Events is: P( A and B) = P(A) * P(B), where A is the first event and B is the second event.
