If you're referring to the Meghan Markle interview, it means basically racist undertones (othering her, talking about her like the British Empire's press used to talk about the "subjects" of the Empire).

Even without a full context, it basically means treating her negatively with strong links to it being her race, as the British press is notoriously nationalistic.

If you're describing the Meghan Markle meeting, it implies essentially racist touches (othering her, discussing her like the British Realm's press used to speak about the "topics" of the Realm).

Even without a complete context, it essentially suggests treating her adversely with strong links to it being her race, as the British press is infamously patriotic.

Colonial Undertones? That's when Feargal Sharkey moves to Australia.

What the Royal House of Horrors did to Harry and Meghan. Penalty for associating with colored. There goes your so-called common wealth.
