Do I have the right to confront a news reporter in public?

    Most definitely.

Why do you want to do this?  If the reporter did a story on how you molested puppies or tried to sell your spouse to slavers, you might have a right, although a clever prosecutor could well suggest you had avenues other than harassment and interfering with someone doing a job protected by the First Amendment.  If you intend to challenge a reporter for doubting some of Trump's lies, forget it.

    They won't talk to you.

They only talk to dumb people.

Plus news reporters can only confront you. You can't confront them.

No. The rights of media overcome your right of privacy.

I doubt it.  It would be considered harassment.

Depends on what you mean by confront.  Legally you can't touch them nor harass them.
