Are there descendants of white Europeans living in North Africa?

I read about the Barbary Slave trade of White Europeans by the Barbary pirates, where they were captured from Iceland, France, England and many other places and taken to Harems and slave markets in North Africa, Algeria and Tunisia more specifically. Are any of their descendants alive today?

Early human ancestors started out with light skin according to biologists. Dark skin evolved after humans lost their body fur because naked skin was vulnerable to UV radiation as explained in the Out of Africa hypothesis.

Yes. Lots of North Africans have European ancestors. In fact the pharaohs of Egypt were Caucasians. People in countries like Morocco are Caucasians. They settled there voluntarily. There were not slaves. Even in countries like Ethiopia, a lot of the people have European ancestors, even if their skin may look dark. Caucasians in the Middle East had ancestors in Europe, and after inventing agriculture their population boomed. Many Middle Eastern farmers migrated back to Europe and some went east to India while others migrated to North Africa. Some Europeans even migrated as far south as Chad.
