honestly ?
I'd say being on here daily
can't think of a more depressing thing than knowing I've been a heavy user on q&a since the pandemic broke out.
still, whatever doesn't kill me will only make me stronger right ? but at the cost of my mental health ? hmm..

Standing out in the cold for those minutes it takes to get the front door open, the relief of warmth and shelter you feel after you get in the house, then the sickening depressing angry guilty and sad feeling that comes over you thinking of the poor and homeless who have no escape from the cold and street. I wish the people in charge would do more to help the poor hungry and homeless out there. We've got to have just a little bit of budget to provide food and shelter to fellow human beings as opposed to ignoring the problem making them move out of the only homes they have, the tent cities, and then mocking them. The emergency shelters are a good start, but how about more counceling, social workers, starter jobs, affordable housing, etc. And don't get me started on homeless Vets. Gave everything for this country yet we cant give them a better life than living on the street? Most of these homeless cant help their situation sometimes, and need help. It just isn't right. :(

One of the big things for me was going into my 40s and really liking this guy around my own age and then finding out he was going out with a girl 18 years younger than me and generally had a thing for youngsters. All the time he was around me was for me to feed his massive ego and he never gave a sh^t about me at all after offering friendship for 2 years.

The influence of garbage 📺 television shows. Also my hip and back arthritis. The idea of having surgery scares me.

The passing of a child. It is absolutely awful for the parents.
I have two friends and an aunt who lost children and a few people at my place of business who have lost children. Watching what they go through I hope and pray to never ever experience it.
