Well, they sometimes fill their cheek pouches with food or with something they want to move to another place, and then they look like they have super mumps. Once my white hamster got hold of a Hershey bar, and it melted in her cheek pouches, and melted chocolate dribbled all over. No she didn't die; milk chocolate is not that toxic.
