Is there something wrong with me wanting the evil ghosts of horror films to face divine punishment for their actions?

You get that ghosts and divinity are both just stories right?  

It's normal to want evil actions in our works of fiction to be punished.  But in these movies, those ghosts are just there to create a threat and conflict for the protagonist to resolve.
