Could Donald Trump have prevented the capitol attack by conceding to Joe Biden?

If he had conceded like a man, did not start the "stop the steal" and did not encourage people to march and fight at the Capitol; he could have prevented. Instead, for hours he watched the attack on Capitol with glee and ignored pleas for help even from his own party. When he finally spoke after several hours, he told them he loved them and that they ere special. Those were murderers.

@Bekindto animals:  Oh he knew all right.  Why ELSE would he say "be here on Jan 6.  Should be exciting"  (He wasn't talking about Disneyworld.)

And no, it wouldn't have changed anything.

First of all, Donald Trump had no idea some idiots were going to attack the Capitol Bldg.  Sure and we could all give up our own political beliefs in order to unite the country too but then what does that say about the country if there are no longer any opportunities for debate.  We are no longer a free country.

Questioning the election considering that laws were changed in an unconstitutional manner going against the US constitution as well as 4 states own constitutions should be a no brainer.  What was done concerning the electoral vote is in the constitution as an option.  In fact, in 2016 the Democrats used it to object to 11 states.  So you are saying Republicans are not permitted to use the constitution to protect their rights and the rights of the whole country.  The left wants to do away with the constitution.  That is why they lie about EVERYTHING.

All he had to say is “Congratulations Mr. President”. But..............Dead Fred wouldn’t allow him to do that.

Yes. His speech to the crowd on January 6th was all about how the election had been 'stolen' from him, and how the crowd should march to Congress and fight to overturn the election result.

Fat Donnie IS guilty of sedition.

Yes. He also could have prevented it by not whipping his followers up into an insurgent frenzy.
