My wife wants me to stop watching porn; can I ask her to stop watching cat videos online and day-time soap operas?

You can each share what concerns or bothers you about the other one's behavior, and ask for the changes you wish; whether you'll get them or not is quite another matter. The two categories you described have nothing to do with one another, except they're both "entertainment" of sorts. How about you both turn off the TV and just spend time together. Play games, put a puzzle together, the other thing married people do. Go help others. (in the spring/summer/fall) plant a garden, do home improvements. That stupid boob tube and computers are pulling people apart left and right. The only sex you need to see is you and your wifes!
