Have you had success in removing hardened ear wax at home instead of going to the nurse for tools... ?

Doctors appointments takes ages over here.

Yes you can even go to your local pharmacy and buy a ear wax removal kit. You will get ear drops and a little pump. You put in a few ear drops in and lay on your side for a few minutes and then use the pump to flush it out with warm water.

A few drops of olive oil over about 4 days to soften the wax, then a stream of warm water in the shower for a few minutes works well.

Often. Applying olive oil or designated drops from a pharmacy. You need to put a few drops in over several days, for it to loosen.

I bought a syringe bulb (as in the photo), to force warm water into the ear, which removes the wax.
