Nexplanon hurting after 3 years?

Hi my nexplanon is due to come out of my arm on January 21st 2021 after it being inserted three years ago, I do not have the insurance as I did before to get it taken out and I have started experiencing pain in the arm where the rod is and I just wonder if anyone else has experienced the same

Ignore the other person, my best friend had the implant and found that after about 2 years it began to hurt, turns out she was allergic to the material its made from but *they assume* that because of the high levels of hormones it masked the materials signature
