Is Sharia law most effective is preventing rapes against women?

Saudi Arabia has a very low rate of rape. That too is done by expatriates.

No, it means the woman asked for it because they are permiscumiuos and are stoned to death by other women.

Turns out when a society doesn't prosecute a crime and makes it dangerous to even report said crime the stats look pretty good on that crime.

You’re confusing low rate of rapes happening and low rate of rapes being reported.

Under Sharia law, women who are raped are often punished more than the rapists, even stoned to death. Also her family may consider she’s brought “dishonour” on her family and have her killed .

So if you’re a women raped in a Muslim country, it’s probably best not to report it.

    Nice people!

no it means the woman asked for it because they are permiscumiuos  and are stoned to death by other women . in muslims the woman isnt suppose to be attractive to men to  be raped alas so men cant rape a women if she shows anything .she guilty of egging them on , is how the muslim law works .

Yes Sharia law is the very best system in the world for preventing rape, because they don't recognise the woman as the victim and instead call it "sex outside of marriage". Hence it doesn't exist in their countries at all.

If she reports the sexual assault, then she also will be found guilty of having sex outside of marriage and may even receive a harsher sentence than the perpetrators.

If she is gang raped and unconscious at the time, that is no excuse for breaking Sharia law and she will be held accountable for being such a Jezebel.

Islam is a sick twisted religion and this very law alone makes it so.

The law lies solely in the burden of proof. Which means, despite Sharia Law if the woman in question is able to supply proof nothing will happen to her. I know of such a case in Saudi Arabia where the husband vouched for his wife and she was acquitted, the guy executed.

People just can't go and say what they think they know based on the system over there in regards Sharia Law; it is best to go by individual case.

No, but it does seem to be the absolute best at making sure that local rapes aren't reported and that women who are raped and do report the event are evicarated by the system.

Sharia law is very effective at making people adhere to the appearance of their definition of propriety.  That doesn't fix problems, it only drives them underground.

    No.

the thing in Saudi Arabia is that if a woman reports a rape, SHE goes to jail for having extramarital sex
