I always cook with grapeseed oil because it takes the heat and does not smoke like olive oil does.
I don't even have any vegetable oil in my pantry.
I use extra virgin olive oil as a flavoring, directly over steamed veggies (especially broccoli or asparagus) or on a fresh garden salad.

I mainly use vegetable oil for all general cooking, and I use olive oil in dressings & for drizzling.

I use vegetable oil to cook with and olive oil on raw foods, like salad. Grapeseed is too expensive and not healthy enough for either.

Olive oil for everything except super high temperature searing. Then grapeseed oil is great.

Vegetable oil when a recipe requires a large amount of oil as an ingredient, frying is also with vegetable oil for me. For most other things, I use olive oil.
