No - not at all.  There was a real civilisation, with towns, villages, trade, farming, etc.

Things were pretty nice until the Romans came along and showed us what can happen when none of us get along with each other.  Just like what is going to happen to the United States if we can't get along with each other.

No. Britain was occupied by farmers and ranchers who migrated to the area from the Caucasus region and the Middle East after the discovery of agriculture. They built Stonehenge to celebrate harvests, held parties with feasts, buried their dead there  and to worship gods. The Roman armies were killers, robbers, and rapists. They killed entire villages sometimes after conquering a new place. They killed and raped the virgin daughters of the Queen of England when they invaded the British Isles. The Romans in fact are more closely related to Greeks, Arabs, Jews, and Turks than they are to the Western Europeans like Brits, French, Spaniards, and the Irish, according to DNA evidence. Brits, French, Spaniards and the Irish belong to Y Chromosome  haplogroup R1b, but southern Italians, Arabs, Greeks and Turks belong to the Y. chromosome haplogroup J.

Yes... the Persians and Egyptians gave way to Greece which gave way to Rome which gave way to (former) Celts which gave way to America which will probably give way to Asia, but we'll have to see. If that happens and it goes back to the Middle East and then Africa, we'll go full circle.

LOL. Just like the British invented the USA, gave people a land to live in, a culture and a language to speak. Gotta love those Romans.

That's one way to look at it. I mean, Britain's landed gentry in the 1850s didn't even have the hot water that the Romans had had in Britain nearly 2,000 years prior.

OTOH, have ya been to London? Have ya been to Rome? See what I'm sayin', hon?

    Bwaaaaah-haaaaa-haaaaa!!!!!

Most Brits today are decadents from Romans. In fact they are very proud of this and Roman culture is western culture, it’s all over Europe, South America and North America.
