A member of my household does not flush the toilet after making pee so I could smell the urine ever time.?

There are no harmful effects. And perhaps your flatmate is trying to save water, which is laudable, but he's gone too far. He could flush maybe every second time.

That doesn't mean that they should keep not flushing.   If it is a owner of the house,  you can choose to bask in the lovely scent of Urin tm., or you can leave.

Yeah, some people are dogs.  They leave their business laying around and aren't bothered by it.

Probably they are used to the smell, or don't detect the odor in the same way most of us do.  I do know there is no way to convince them of the importance of flushing every time.
