Do Londoners of an older generation never use the word cockney?

    I'm from the older generation and I am a Cockney. Born and bred in Limehouse east London. Cockney and bloody proud of it.

    I have no idea what words the `older generation` of London use. But I`m sure they would use the word Cockney more often than the younger generation, especially the old East End born Older people. 

    there are still quite a few old and possibly young Londoners who can speak Cockney slang.
