Practicing any type of occult (not purely theatrical) magic is a sin.

Most of religions today have pagan customs brought into religion by priests wanting to find converts.  Christmas is or was sun worship.  Jesus was born around September and to gain converts they added the winter festival to christianity.  They cut down the only green tree still green.  Shared suppies to last them till spring and had a festival to get the sun to come back.  Then pagan sex worship of the spring festival or Easter is a rabbit and colored eggs.  The heart shape for Valentines day is actually the shape of a womans butt when she bends over??  A human heart is not shaped like that.  So they could have sex similar to animals.  Which they worshipped.  Christians read their horoscope and some will not leave the house without knowing the signs in the sun, moon and stars.  So what is black magic?  and how is it different than Christianity.  Where Jesus says to love your neighbor.  But Christians are told to go to war and kill them.

Wiccans are actually a modern adaptation of witchcraft using Christian models. Their 'covens' are even arranged with a leader guiding groups of 'twelve' and an intimate inner circle of 'three,' just as Jesus did with His disciples.

This arrangement was never previously a part of witchcraft and arrived as a counter response to the effectiveness and power of Christian spirituality. Most Wiccans do not practice the 'black arts' which are mostly being practiced in the street drug and gang culture and those funding or supporting it. They serve evil by keeping that culture from completely destroying itself or by trying to 'heal' it when it is damaged so it can continue to do its evil work. By 'doing no harm' themselves, they can feel unjustifiably 'good' and self-righteous while still doing the devil's bidding.
