View negatively? How many people think people who believe in astrology are public enemies? Pew Research polled Americans about "New Age" beliefs. The great majority do not believe in astrology. Democrats believe in it more than Republicans - surprising considering the anti-science positions many Republicans have. There's not as much difference between the two parties re psychics.

hard to tell as "New Age" is pretty much impossible to define.

However, as far as I can tell, New Age largely consists of excuses to defend capitalism, and exploiting people's natural need for spirituality
