Does sausage come from pigs?

    No, sausages are manufactured, they don't “come from” any animal. Most sausages contain meat (pork, beef, chicken and even other meats), rusk, herbs and seasonings.

    Not necessarily.     Sausages can be made form beef, chicken or venison.

    But most are usually made form pork.

    40 - 60 % pig. Hot dogs are allowed to sell at 10 - 20% meat usually chicken added.

    It can, but it can also come from beef, venison, poultry, sheep or goat.
