Why do some grown men and women refute modern day physics, astronomy and photographic evidence of our planets shape ?

because science is financed which means we really only experiment on what the gouvernment wants us to. And people that are sceptic of the gouvernment are also sceptic of science. Kinda like how Winston feels about history in 1984. No one knows if they´re right or not but they´re not as crazy as it may seem, as much as i dislike them blue haired vegans.

1 )So they don't feel "Obligated" to study SCIENCE.---Intellectually LAZY. 2) think they are "too stupid" to understand Science and need an excuse to avoid it  to save their ego.

I do not know. The bible teaches that the earth is round. The bible even states that the earth hangs on nothing. So to believe the earth is flat is not biblical.
