Is it bad to recharge an A/C in cold weather?

    It is RIDICULOUS to use those auto store RECHARGING cans if that is what you are UP TO! The PROPER way is to START OVER AGAIN with the RIGHT equipment! You MUST evacuate ALL the FREON OUT< v]clean it, add fresh PAG OIL and then return the FREON with the proper pressures! A COMPUTERIZED machine does all this FOR YOU! It is NOT worth it to waste money on those LITTLE FREON CANS! They are PROBABLY not very PURE, and you will NOT get the proper use from them! USUALLY every 8 years of use is TIME for a AC TUNE UP recharge! BYE NOW

    It's not bad but it's more difficult to check the output temperature at the center vents to verify it's working properly. You need a set of gauges to monitor the low and high side pressures if you're uncertain.

    All cars have a set amount of refrigerant need to fill the system to operating capacity. If you are starting from zero just install the recommended amount
