Crack your eggs and catch the whites in a bowl standing on a scale, then you can see when you get to the required weight.

250 grams is close to 1/2 pound.
1/2 pound is 8 ounces (weight).
<Not a liquid ounce (volume).>
So 250 grams is about 8.5 ounces.
1 ounce is about 1 large eggwhite.
So the white of 8.5 large eggs.

That's 1 cup so probably 8. An egg roughly takes up 1/4 cup, half white (1/8), half yolk (1/8).

You are looking at roughly almost 9 ounces of egg whites, so it would be a cup and then one more ounce.

Weight of an egg white in one large egg is 30 grams - between 8 and 9 eggs.

It depends on the size of the eggs. But you can buy Just egg whites. They come in cardboard containers, like small milk containers. Just look near the milk in the dairy section.

Depends on the size of the eggs.
Not sure where you are; but in the UK you can buy cartons of just egg white, so might be easier to do that.
