People don't realize that dogs don't actually need meat, I knew a farmer that fed his working dogs one bowl of porridge every morning and nothing else. They were given bones to keep their teeth strong but never meat.

What a ridiculous question. A tiny bit of research would teach anyone that a RAW diet is healthiest for a dog.

Yes, TRUE. Dogs are carnivores by nature's design. They can and do eat meat. Some will catch, kill and eat prey (even bird-dogs). Only a relative few owners choose to feed a raw diet, but plenty of books on how to do it correctly - are out there.
