Adults most commonly get hernias from physical exertion (doing sports), obesity, or frequent straining/coughing. They can also frequently happen during pregnancy or when giving birth for females.

🥴 Open wounds that are healing after surgery. If you over exert yourself in heavy lifting, your intestines get caught in there. It heals and strangles the blood flow and may cause a heart attack or cause your intestine to rip.Source(s): Just had my kidney removed. They warned me about the same thing. Anyone with hernias would have to have surgery to get it fixed within 10 years or it can be fatal. However, some ppl CAN live with it unaffected, depending on how little you consume.
