Is it true that the American State of Alaska is adjacent to the Russian Kamchatka Territory?

They don't share a land border, but they are across the Bering Strait from each other.

Alaska's Aleutian Islands are somewhat "adjacent" to the Kamchatka Peninsula. Also, there's this thing called a map/

That's not what the word "adjacent" means. Alaska does not share a land border with Russia. So Alaska is adjacent to water.
