How can a teenage boy get a six-pack quickly, and how long would it take ? Trying to help a friend.?

Some answers thought I was referring to a six-pack of coke or beer, I meant a six-pack of Abs.

    Obviously you do not lead a very active lifestyle and eat bad food.  It is unfortunate these days with modern city life it can be very easy to get fat and lethargic.  If you want that slim look with good six pack abs it is likely going to take you quite a time as likely you are 50kgs over weight.  Firstly the food mom is giving you is not the right sort of food and likely you are eating a lot of take out or pre-prepared food mom buys at the supermarket.  80% of food sold in supermarkets is high fat and high sugared food designed for taste rather that nutrition.  People especially in America also tend to eat food in much larger quantities than the body needs so the excess is put on as fat.

      To get a 6 pack you are going to need to eat way more healthier food and yes healthy food can taste very good and cut out the crap like candy, snack foods, take out food, sodas, (yes soda is very fattening as it is full of sugar which turns to fat inside you) etc.  Your mom needs to take you to a dietician and you both learn about how to eat correctly and what to avoid, and in what quantities.  Likely mom will learn heaps and change the whole way the family eats.  Good healthy foods are low GI which means low glycemic index, which means they do not digest as fast so you feel fuller for longer.  If you are eating correctly you will not feel hungry.

      Then you must deal with getting off the computer and your phone and get outside and do some exercise.  Just a brisk 40 minute walk a day is what you need.  You don't have to jog or anything over strenuous, and even better if you can do at least 2 walks a day.  By brisk I mean fast walking so no stopping every couple minutes to window shop or smell the flowers.  It takes a couple weeks before the cravings for rubbish snacks and meals subside but if you are strong willed and determined to get fit you will do it.  Weigh yourself naked or in minimal clothes every week and as you see the weight coming off it will give you the determination to continue.  Write down your weight every Sunday so you can see the weight coming off  as it helps a lot to be able to see the positive results  A set of bathroom scales are a dieter's best friend.

      I think it is best if mom or both parents will support you.  See a doctor and discuss your weight problem and they will tell you the probable health problems you are quickly heading for such as diabetes, heart problems, higher risk of cancer, and joint problems.  The fact is fat people die much earlier than in shape people, and girls don't want to date fat boys.  Fat boys tend to not be wanted hanging around with the healthy boys and can be teased for being fat.  The doctor will recommend a dietician who will show mom how to prepare good healthy delicious food in the right proportions and tell you how much exercise you need,  Maybe your parents will walk with you and lose some weight as well as generally the whole family is fat if the kids are fat.

      I was fat and lost 30 kgs in about 5 months so no it is not going to happen in a couple weeks and once you lose the weight bad food like unhealthy take outs and fattening snacks should be a once in a while treat.  Replace cookies, chips and candy with an apple as apples are nature's appetite suppressants and are full of good vitamins and minerals our bodies need.  Once you lose the weight and are more active you will have to make sure you don't go back to your old bad eating and lazy habits.  Likely you will have sexy friends to hang out with and do things like sports such as throwing a few basketball hoops with them that will help with your needed exercise each day.

      If it sounds too hard then get ready for a short unhealthy life as you are headed for it the way you are going.  Do it for your future health or accept life is going to always be lonely, boring and short..

    Weight matters very little with no height to connect the two.  If he is 6 foot 4 that is a very normal weight

    A 15 year old weighs 105 Kilogrammes? Lol what a fat lump. He's at least 50 Kilogrammes heavier than what would be considered a healthy weight for him. Stop eating so much already
