I'm sure your manual recommends full synthetic motor oil as it is best for the bearings inside the turbocharger. Regular oil will eventually "coke" (dry oil build-up) on the turbocharger bearings when a hot engine is turned off. When this happens over time the turbocharger will no longer spin. Full synthetic motor oil resists coking the bearings when the turbocharger is still spinning with no oil pressure when the ignition key shuts down the motor.
