A plane load of international students invaded Darwin today. Does this mean that our dream of having international borders is over?

Update:

Having borders today is the only way for your culture to exist tomorrow.

Apparently, someone much smarter than you knows the international students bring in a LOT of money and benefit the economy. Students are there temporarily- they're not going to affect your "culture".

I find it especially amusing when Australians talk about protecting the purity of their culture. Your founders were criminals, tossed out of England. Their early settlements in Australia were hell on earth. They even had to have an island to banish the worst of them to. Do you not study your own history in Australia? Your international students are coming from places that have had great civilizations and cultures for thousands of years. Try to learn something from them.

I don't dream of being stagnant, life is change, life is more fulfilling outside our comfort zone. annoying, scary, frustrating, painful, challenging, bring it on.
