An aerial photographer who photographs real estate properties has determined that the best photo is taken at a height of approximately 400 ft and a distance of 826 ft from the building. What is the angle of depression from the plane to the building?

Go ask a mathematician. Photographers don't care. They just look through their viewfinders and decide whether it's good or not. Heck, with this question, the pilot may be more helpful!

This is a maths question, not photography.
The sine of an angle is opposite leg divided by the hypotenuse.
Thus, arcsine(O/H) will be your answer, that is assuming they mean the 826 number is the hypotenuse (it could be a poorly worded problem where they really mean the adjacent leg - in that case use arctangent).
