Why do americans hate illegal immigration?

It's not like their ancestors came to america with papers. They came to another people's land and claimed it for their own. Yet get offended and try to kick out those who come here seeking a better life.

Update:

If illegal is illegal is illegal that means that the pilgrims were illegal and should've been deported. That all americans are descended from illegal immigrants.

"Fix their own country" why didn't the pilgrims fix their own country? They didn't come here and learn the language and follow the laws. They escaped from their country and then brought their culture and destroyed the sitting culture. Which is way worse than modern immigrants.

Update 2:

So if the pilgrims were morally justified than logically if a technologically advanced alien race where to come to america and occupy it and destroy our culture, commit genocide, and implant themselves that would be okay as there is currently no laws on interplantary immigration? Then imagine centuries later their leader talks about "deporting" humans to other planets and they refuse to let other aliens come live in america. That's 100% justified according to your logic.

The vast majority of living Americans are descended from legal immigrants.

"if the pilgrims were morally justified than logically if a technologically advanced alien race" LOL..... they were British thrown out of the UK because of their extreme  violent religious behaviour where they refused to stop their extreme behaviour and refused to live alongside the then religious society.......they were put on ships and removed hoping the ships would sink and kill them, they made it to Holland and very uickly because of the same extreme behaviour they were thrown out of Holland...and reinvented themselves  as 'pilgrims' when they landed in what is now USA, then belonging to the British Empire...so not illegals but religious nutters of the extreme to a land that had nothing, was a waste land... and to make it anything the land needed others to build it, develop and create its 'culture'

It was a very different time when our ancestors came here, and there were no immigration laws at that time.  We have a legal pathway for those "seeking a better life" to come here.  If people want to come to America, they must follow our laws.

Here's a thought... instead of coming here and failing to learn our language or follow our laws, why don't these people FIX THEIR OWN COUNTRY?????
