Does the flat Earth rotate?
Or is the disk of the Earth stationary? If the Earth rotates, then the Sun and stars could move more slowly and still follow a day/night cycle.
Rotate like a frisbee.

The Earth isn't really flat.
It's a slightly concave disc, with the Antarctic ice shelf at the edges.
The frisbee analogy is close.
Of course it rotates. That keeps the oceans towards the edges of the disc, and prevents them from drowning us all.
As you can see from the Azimuthal projection map, (see link) it is the SOUTH Pole that borders the disc, otherwise the oceans would gradually spill out into the void.
This is the real danger of Global Warming; that the Antarctic Ice Edge will melt, and we will lose all our water to the Turtle on whose back we ride.

Although Earth isn't flat, the general idea among Flat Earthers is that the Earth is stationary and the Sun moves around above it, illuminating a large portion of the Earth like a spotlight.

Sorry, but Earth is not shaped like a pizza or a frisbee. Earth is approximately spherical, as Aristotle noted, quoting proofs known in his day. And Earth does rotate, once every 23 hours 56.4 minutes.
