Does my nan have dementia?

My nan has had many personality changes and I’ve been trying to get her to go to the doctors for 2 years. 

Today she has admitted that she has been frustrated by forgetting people’s names constantly. 

Although she said it is old age is it worth to get checked by a doctor

We all forget names no matter what age we are, there is no cure for dementia so unless she is a danger to herself or others there is no point in upsetting her.
