What finally happened to the “auto warranty “ scammers?
They were calling me four times a day. Every time the number was spoofed using my own area code, and prefix code.
I tried the free app from T-Mobil that allegedly stops scams. It did not work.
Suddenly they just stopped all together about three weeks ago. Did the app start working, or did they get busted?
I was also getting the fake “Wells Fargo” call, and the fake “Your car ran a toll booth and the police are on their way” calls.
I guess they took a break. I just got another call this morning.

I wonder why you would CARE what happened to
one of the biggest annoyances of all time!
Good grief!
Just be glad they aren't bothering you any more!

They probably just eliminated your number after you didn't answer or respond after a number of tries. Every second wasted on a non productive robocall is time that could be used to find a naive person who will answer to try and scam.
