We are definitely much more miserable today then we were before the internet. We tell ourselves that we "enjoy" the attention we get from internet people but thats just a short term gratification. In the long term we waste our lives.Like a dog chasing its tail.In short we are all ADDICTS that come here every day looking for the ultimate "fix".Like moths to light.

No. More disappointed with short falls.

Failure to meet the hopes & dreams of what it could do.

As in, we still don't have "gravityboards" as in "Back To the Future." Self Driving Cars (getting close). and  All Non-Fossil fueled vehicles, and Interplanetary space travel.

Yes, I remember when people used to talk to each other, kids played out in the street, families went for long walks and  generally did more things together.

I think so. We become reliant on technology

Just 1 example. In the past your friends and colleagues and acquaintances used to come and go from your life. Now they all hang around forever in your Facebook contacts. Urgh!!
