What do you think was the best time (e.g. decade) to have lived in the UK?

I was aged 12 in 1960 so I was a teenager throughout the 1960s.

Now in my 8th decade, in my opinion, there has never been another decade that comes close to that of the 1960s.

The nineties weren't bad, as long as you ignored the politics.

1945  to 1955 No Muslim Terrorists and Paedophiles the Riots started in 1958

when Londoners went out to beat up a Pakistani and they still wont go home

The 60’s would’ve been interesting.  I may have vague fragments of memories as I was born in 66. The 80s though were my most formative time, and were equally interesting.  I’m glad that I lived through that era.

I've lived here since I was born in the 60's. The 80's were the best as far as I am concerned. For Music, for traffic, for people and for healthcare.
