How long do you think it will take to have a vaccine for COVID-19? And why?

Even though there are actually a few vaccines coming soon, I don't think the "outbreak" or otherwise pandemic will be over any time soon. Throughout 2021 and maybe 2022 we will still be required to social distance and wear face masks, because we DON'T want a virus outbreak to happen again! My God...

There are several vaccines that have proven success; they now need to get certified and be manufactured. So technically by the end of the year they could be cleared for use; but making and distributing them will take longer. It's unlikely there'll be widespread vaccinations for a few months yet.

Have you been living in a cave? There are 3 vaccines and we will be receiving one of them in the UK in the next couple of weeks.
