How hard is finding a software engineering role in Las Vegas?

I'm about to graduate with a bachelor's in computer science from UNLV and I was wondering how hard is it to find a job within my field in Las Vegas? Will things get better once the pandemic ends?

yeahhhh that's never going to happen. sorry. the software engineers that lost their job because of the pandemic aren't going to let you, a new graduate, snatch it up.

There are definitely jobs. I have no idea about the number of people applying for them. I live in Las Vegas and understand the weak economy without the conventions and high visitor level.
