as when I google the number, the results,.such as whocalledmeuk, take me to a list of numbers that does not Include this number

Whocallsme usually gives good coverage of nuisance calls in the UK and EU. A lot originate in India but are relayed through Manchester and similar places so the results are not very accurate. Blocking them tends not to work as they use different numbers. My number is unlisted and yet I still get calls, they are often totally random, like telling me I was going to have my broadband cut off - even though at the time I didn't have it.
