all the time, but refuse to help me financially. He makes more money than me!

Marriage is an equal partnership; not necessarily equal in money, but equal in responsibility.  What do you do to make it worthwhile for him to give you money?  If you marry, will you be responsible in handling money?

Is your question concerning why he doesn't help you financially, or why does he continually brag about having money?  BTW, he's not married to you, so it's not his financial obligation to help you.

look. your marriage won't look too good if he's acting like this about money. marriage is about becoming one.. and he can't even do that with money or help you. nope. that's a divorce waiting to happen. can't wait for the juicy details in your next question after that.

One wonders why you expect a man you're not even married to to be paying your bills. But this reveals that you and this guy have vastly different attitudes about money and probably shouldn't be marrying one another.
