Matthew 23:23 - "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone." Though empathy does not appear in scriptures, compassion runs through both testaments consistently. See: https://www.blueletterbible.org/search/search.cfm?...

My vocabulary tells me this: Empathy is the ability to understand the inner world of others by avoiding judgments. Empathic communication is the way to this goal thanks to two techniques: understanding and active listening. ... The key elements of empathic communication are understanding and active listening.

In the Holy Bible there is not written the word Empathy, it says believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you, and part of your family, will be saved.

Another thing is, the Spirit of God, that you DO NOT know and have never had a single experience with the Spirit of God!!

Yes it does.  Mat 7:12 is an example.

If it comes from the Holy Spirit, why are so many Christians devoid of empathy?
