Why is it that there are so many feuds and scandals on twitter?

Question

Everyday someone is getting "cancelled" or someone is getting offended while others are apologising for something trivial because they are pressured by a mob

Also people loosing their jobs because the twitter mob phoned their work place after saying something controversial while others are getting attacked because they dont have the right political or religious believe

I feel that twitter these days is a huge part of what is keeping people divided

Am i the only one that thinks that?
