When is Yahoo going to allow commenting again ? They say they want people to get involved but don't allow it. Censorship at its most subtle.?

I doubt they ever will. It is their way to protect their biased and incompetent "journalists". Other news agencies have done the same. It is a frightening time for freedom in America when our own press is censoring people. This will come back to bite them.

How the hell are we supposed to know?
Unless they make another announcement, or actually reinstate the comments section, then we will know.

One of the few companies that sucked more than Verizon is Yahoo. Now that Verizon has acquired Yahoo, its one big happy suck.

Verizon will allow commenting again as they see fit. Even though it's censorship, this is the only way to combat abusive posts plaguing this site.

They may not ever. They don't share their plans with us (except when it comes to shutting down Yahoo features, as was done prior to shutting down Y!Messenger and Yahoo Groups).
.
Not allowing commenting is not censorship at all. It's simply not allowing commenting. ANYONE is free to share a link to any article to their own social media, and comment up a storm (and allow others to do the same). 90% or more of the comments on news articles AND here in YA were nothing more than insults, rants, chat, or other meaningless and valueless drivel.

Many news agencies have dropped comments. They do not like it when people with the facts comment that the reporter does not know what he is talking about.

I'm guessing after the election. Too many were showing Yahoo biases and weren't believing their propaganda, so they just silenced the people and the truth.
