How can I get past my fear that violence might break out at my polling place?

I got a threatening letter from some group AFTER I had already voted.  Emailed them back if I heard from them again they'd have more than snot dripping from their nose.  Be at the poll when it opens in the morning, these creeps won't be there yet.  Or don't go alone.  Don't feel intimidated:  I'm 81 years old, and prepared to kick butt if anyone even tries to question my right to vote.

Drop you ballot at a ballot drop box.  Ballotrax emailed me to say they received my ballot.

Go early.  Dress non-descript with a leaning toward conservative with a lowercase "c" looking so that you could be "everyman."

Vote by post or turn up before the troublemakers have gotten out of bed.
