carrier means the transportation company.  a carrier facility is a building where that company sorts the package and loads it onto a truck or train or plane or whatever it is using for transport.  Processed means that part of the job is done, that it has been sorted and loaded onto the truck (or whatever).

From here on, it would be called "In transit" or "On route" perhaps.  You might get a later notice of "Processed for delivery" which would mean that the package was delivered by the truck (or whatever) to a distribution facility, and would then be ready for delivery by the local truck.  "Out for delivery" might be the next notice, that the local truck is out and delivering a lot of packages in your area.  If the package has been delivered, you ought to get a notice that the package was delivered.

The notices tend to follow some sort of sequence like:

    Shipping label prepared

    Processed for shipment.

    Picked up by carrier.

    Processed at carrier facility

    In transit

    Received at delivery facility

    Processed by delivery facility

    Out for delivery

    Delivered.

Might not have them all, but that is the usual order.

Means your order has been picked up by the carrier and taken to their distribution centre and is (probably) on its way or about to be.
