We've had students in their mid-to-upper-20s who have lived on campus.

Does the 50 year old homeless man living on the front lawn of the dormitory count?

As others note  - some universities have housing for graduate and/or married students on campus. It depends on the university.

I had a former Army guy on my hallway (he was given a private room).  Believe he was about 30.

Many colleges now have separate dorms for graduate and married students.  That's where they would offer housing for older students.  It is considered inappropriate or downright dangerous to put, say, a guy in his 40s in a dorm with a bunch of late teens.
