In the history of exploration, has anybody ever traveled to the bottom side of the Earth?

    And exactly where is the "bottom side" of the Earth.

    It is a sphere where down is towards its center.  Where is the bottom?

    We are currently at the bottom of the Earth as much as we are at the top.

    Since the Earth is ROUND like a Basketball and most maps are drawn with the North pole at the top and the South pole at the bottom, then yes, lots of people have been to the South Pole.

    "Bottom side"? Where do you think that is? If you think it's Antarctica, you should say so. And take a look at this map, which has Antarctica on the top.

    Also crossed the North Pole in a Dirigible in 1927
