Why don't they fire this girl ?

Is it illegal to fire a pregnant employee who constantly calls off or comes in late?

    It generally opens the employer up to a lawsuit to fire someone when they're pregnant. For the purposes of disability pay pregnancy is classes as a "disability" and this brings the ADA into question for employers.

    Not illegal at all, unless she has leave time to cover the absences.

    She may have a Drs excuse.   They also cant fire her for pregnancy- which would include needing to call off for complications related to pregnancy

    Yes, an employee who does not do her job can be fired for not doing her job.  Her pregnancy provides no protection.
