Hunting: with my 303 rifle I’m getting neck splitting on every shot with this new batch of ammo. What would be the likely cause ?

Case necks were not properly annealed. If hand loads, work hardening from resizing, still need to be annealed.

I would first check the head space.  Just a thought but that is what I would do.

Check the firing chamber, you may have enough erosion that the case is not supported at the neck.    There could also be a split in the firing chamber.   Until you get a good look stop firing the gun.

Weapons will be illegal on December 1st. A little over 5 weeks!
