What is it about Ireland that it spawns and inspires so many revolutionaries?

    They to were on the edge of the world an allied sentinel between the ocean and the rest of the world, dependable, intelligent,  safe. Then the New World the edge was gone and the English put an end to the rest destroying the Gaelic language. That would make anyone stand up and fight.

    Ireland as a whole was imperialism's first colony, and today's pretend "independent Irish republic" was the world's first neo-colony. 

    People tend to take the initiative more often in opposing  terrible things when it's a brand new example of evil.
