If the age of majority was rightfully 21 how much would we NOT get punished for murder since minors cannot be executed or jailed?

Go away, troll. Minors are jailed all the time when crimes are serious enough.

If say a 12 year-old murders someone they are tried as an adult.  The judge can sentence them to juvenile detention which is like jail but they are held separately from adults.  When they become adults, they are transferred to a regular prison to finish serving out their sentence.  The age of majority has nothing to do with it.

First of all, not many people, relatively speaking, are being executed for murder, regardless of age.  As for minors not being jailed, I want some of whatever you are smoking.

You CAN be jailed as a minor. You can even get life without parole in adult prison.

Google Jesse Osborne or Gavin Ramsay, both of whom were minors and got life in a real prison.

Minors cannot be jailed, that is news to juvenile detainees.

Wrong.  Minors can be jailed, but they don't call it jail.  It's juvenile detention - jail for minors.

Minors can be, and are, jailed.

Plenty of minors are tried as adults and one suspect if our age of majority was ever shifted to 21 that this would be even more common than it already is. But our age of majority can't be 21 because people that age are more difficult to train as military personnel and that's the reason our standard is set at 18.

Minors can indeed be trialed as adults for serious crimes like murder.

They go to a juvenile detention center until they reach age of majority, then they are transferred to an adult prison.

Kids as young as 10 have been trialed as adults for crimes like murder.
